Literature Text

Stop-- lay down your heads
Thick skulls can weigh too heavy
They descend, they falter
They occupy mindlessness all consuming

Think of your ironies
Think of all of your little fallacies
You could be entertained
But no, you want to dissect everything

Silence-- hold your tongues
I can't hear the cellos with your screams
Slow wits are self-destruction
It keeps the form, but disintegrates the substance

How blessed you are
To only gather at the presentation
To be numb, to be unaltered
From the cancer eating away at your insides
